Located in the northern part of Tanzania, Lake Manyara National Park is 126 kilometers west of Arusha Town. The park covers an area of 330 sq km / 125 sq mile including a lake surface of 230 sq km / 89 sq miles.

It is about 300km to the West of Dar es salaam along the Dar-Mbeya highway The park is also decorated by its superbly scenic plains and baobabs and it is home to various wild animals and birds species. The park is endowed with spectacular concentration of wildlife which are rarely seen in other parks like magnificent Sable antelope, African hunting dog, blue wildebeest, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and others.

Saadani is one of the fewer breeding site for endangered Green Sea Turtles and the only Tanzania Park to protect the mangrove forest.
